This short video is my response to the research project "Finding Comfort within Discomfort", led by The Centre for Arts and Learning. It shows how I explored lockdown discomfort and social distancing through my creative practice.
Due to the pandemic, I had to leave the screen printing studio where I was working before. Lockdown finally allowed the precious time to delve into self-reflection and experimentation, without the pressure and constraint imposed by schedules. I bought a small die cutting machine and used it to make collagraph prints with old mount boards and pieces of card I had lying around the house. My small home office became my printing studio, where I found a new creative freedom.
